Gryphon was born from a simple idea: to create quality, protective motorcycle gear designed by real riders, for real riders — riders who know what it’s really like out on the road.

Because when you ride, you design differently. You think about sudden weather changes, long days in the saddle, real movement, real protection, and all-day comfort. That lived experience shapes every decision we make.

With over 40 years in the motorcycle industry, our founder has seen every corner of the market — from product development and design to riding culture around the world. We grew up during the Golden Age of motorcycles, witnessing the rise of sport bikes, adventure touring, Gold Wings, naked bikes, and café racers. Those decades on and around bikes didn’t just inspire us — they built the foundation of who we are.

At Gryphon, we design our gear right here in North America, carefully developing patterns that provide a true North American fit, so riders don’t have to compromise on comfort or mobility. We source premium materials globally and assemble everything to our exact standards, reflecting our commitment to quality, durability, and performance.
